Thanks to the GoogleServe program, we had over 20 volunteers from Google at the Children First schoolhouse to help us build a buggy shelter, paint, varnish shelves and do garden work! Each year during this time, Google encourages their employees to join in volunteer projects in the local community. The children enjoyed meeting the Googlers and had a pizza lunch in the garden with the volunteers. The children love parking their vehicles under the new shelter and we all appreciate the lovely garden work which resulted in more light and space for the children during outdoor playtime.
