Recently one of our parents came in recently read story in Japanese. It was called The Family of Fourteen on the Move. A great story about 14 mice that have to move deeper and deeper into the forest and work together to overcome different challenges. The children enjoyed hearing the sounds of the new language! The kindergarten teacher read the same story to the children in English. Parents are always welcome to share a story in their native language.
